Last September, after discovering our Nutcracker collection, a special request from one of our cherished customers set us on a magical journey. Inspired by her daughter's name, Odette, and the enchanting details of Swan Lake, we embarked on an exciting journey. 🦢
That sparked our one year project of The Making of Odette🤍
"...Among them, he spotted a maiden of unparalleled elegance, Odette, whose form seemed to shimmer with ethereal light..." 🦢
We started out sketching our favorite motives; beautiful Swans with glitzing crowns, ballerina feet and Odette herself – really making her our very own.. It is the most exciting time painting her and testing techniques out with elements on paper, baubles and seeing which direction we want to go in..

Once we knew which elements we wanted to work with and developed our very own shapes, we came together as a team and brainstormed what type of artisans and products we wanted to develop to make this Christmas tale come true..

We wanted to capture that holiday magic by using these old hand crafting techniques so we can create true heirloom details and pieces full of wonder. 🩰
Odette was taking shape and we dreamed to create the most enchanting handcrafted stockings to make this year's festivities truly magical.. We have worked closely with a friend of ours who initially introduced us to the top artisanal team for wool and needle felt.
These women are just incredible.. Look at the intriciate details they are able to achieve, with every hand stroke.. nothing is made on machine here. Fluffy loose wool is what we start with and with this tiny needle we make each true one-of-a-kind heirloom piece come true.
