The shape is so, so flattering when worn with the hair down. It gathers in the front and because of the pattern, which is partially rib, it is very flexible and has a perfect fit around the head and stays on.
It runs a bit small in size, but at the same time, it is very flexible. Size up, if you are in doubt, please.
